Malls
There are lots of impressive malls and here I include those that have child friendly facilities.

Bahrain City Centre Mall 

The Kingdom’s biggest multi use development. City Centre's the three-level centre will occupy a total Built up area of 450,000 sq m and 150,000 sq meter Gross Leasable area, in the Seef area of Manama. The centre will include a 20-screen cinema - the largest of its kind in the region, the biggest indoor /outdoor water park in the region, along with a family entertainment centre, and the widest variety of restaurants and cafes.  The centre adjoins two hotels and a decked parking structure with 5,500 covered car spaces.The mall includes a wide variety of internationally known shops and brands such as H&M, Saks Fifth Avenue, GAP, Banana Republic, the Nike Store, The and the Virgin Megastore. Al Aali Complex

The Bahrain Mall

Comments: Mothercare and Adams make this a good place to picks things up for your little ones. Look out for the Mall Talk leaflets as they have seller discounts available.
*Post office also worth noting.

Dana Mall

Comments: Quirky place! The sort of shops you would expect here along with a wealth of ethnic arts and souvenirs. Chakazoolu indoor theme park on two levels (yet to try myself) and a cinema.

Lulu Centre

Comments: A bit grey inside but much cheaper than many of the other malls, Buggy carts for hire and a large Mega Mart were you can also pick up cheap clothes (for all ages) no sign of a coffee shop but worth a trip just to save some pennies!

Seef Mall

Comments: Currently most popular mall in Bahrain (may change with City Centre opening?) Large entertainment zone for children and food court plenty of parking and all the kiddie shops you may need inc Mothercare.

Moda Mall
Located on the ground floor of the two 50-storey landmark twin towers, Moda Mall in Bahrain is the ultimate dream destination for all shopaholics. Moda mall at Bahrain is a high-end shopping complex housing as many as 160 exclusive boutiques such as Armani, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Cavalli, Kenzo, Agent Provocateur and Valentino. Operating seven days a week from 10AM in the morning to10PM

Comments: Loads of great titles, lots in english and kids area with seating to try books out with little ones.

Souks

The Souks are great for a more authentic taste of Bahraini life but a little too narrow and smokey to take young kids, a must to visit but hire a babysitter!
*Also, beware of fake toys as they will not adhere to safety standards.

Carrefour
A large hypermarket with very low prices - no wonder more than 2,000,000,000 people worldwide shop with Carrefour every year. You'll find over 100,000 items always in stock.

Jawad
Presents a wide range of quality products from across the globe. An ambience of quality, complimented by Jawad fast food, Home Decor, and fashion outlets.
