BookWorms

In celebration of Ramadan, Bookworms proudly presents its new program:

من حياة الانبياء
Sitting on our flying carpet, wearing our traditional Thob, Jalabiya, or Abaya, we will have lots of fun learning together time honored songs and traveling back to the prophets' time with the character Emad Al-Din who re tells aspects from the prophets' stories. The stories teach important values that the prophets lived by and that we are encouraged to use daily such as respect, patience, helping the weak, love and forgiveness, etc. Each story is then followed by a fun activity and a take-home value scroll (explaining the value learnt from the story)
A Bookworms' Ramadan Goody bag will be given to each child too!

Arts, crafts and books playgroup“RAMADAN RENDEZVOUS” – A RAMADAN PLAYGROUP!  What is Ramadan? What is special about it? And why and how is it celebrated every year?Would you like to introduce your kids to Ramadan this year? Then come and join 4 ½ year old Arman at our home in Mahooz for a unique chance to experience Ramadan & Eid in a Muslim home. Over the course of 4 weeks each Tuesday between 10 AM – 12 PM, children (and their parents!) will be acquainted with the general customs and traditions of the month together with the special festivities and foods to mark the occasion. Children will take home a piece of their experience each week as well.Weekly themes are as follows:
